Dr. Randi Ruela, D.C., L.Ac.


Dr. Randi Ruela is not just limited to helping patients improve their overall health and well being through the use of Chiropractic and Acupuncture techniques. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Randi moved to California in 2009 to pursue her Chiropractic and Acupuncture education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 before ultimately entering Chiropractic and Acupuncture training. After earning her Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degrees, and graduating Valedictorian and Salutatorian, from Southern California University of Life Sciences in the Summer of 2013, Dr. Randi spent her first several years in practice honing her crafts, making patients happier, healthier and learning the ropes of inner office procedure in a 5 star rated office in Palmdale, CA. When the opportunity presented itself to adopt Skinner Chiropractic Life Center in Corona, CA she moved from Palmdale, CA to the city of Corona, CA. Along the way, Dr. Randi has taken part in clinical internships for pediatric and pregnancy chiropractic adjusting and courses for the use of essential oils to stimulate acupuncture points called Aroma Acupoint Therapy both of which she looks forward to cultivating further knowledge and skill. Dr. Randi and Dr. Thales Ruela adopted Skinner Chiropractic Life Center from the fabulous Dr. Jennifer Skinner in December 2015 and renamed it Inner Qi Chiropractic & Acupuncture Wellness Center, or Inner Qi Wellness Center. Dr. Randi looks forward to helping each and every patient find a solution and create an action plan for their health concerns and wellness goals.


Dr. Thales Ruela, L.Ac., MAOM, P.T. (Brazil)


Dr. Thales Ruela is a licensed acupuncturist, husband and avid sports fan who has worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years. Dr. Thales’ first experiences in healthcare was as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Brazil where he worked for several years as part of the Respiratory Therapy and Liver Transplant Rehabilitation Team before moving to the United States in 2006. Dr. Thales has spent the last several years mastering Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and has treated patients of all ages (yes, even young children!) with a wide variety of conditions ranging from headache and other pain conditions to fertility and gynecological issues. A trusted practitioner and educator, Dr. Thales Ruela is held in the highest regard by the many people whose lives he has touched and looks forward to being part of many more peoples’ journey into health.


Trisha Ichiyama, CMT

Trisha attended Everest College in Ontario, CA where she graduated Salutatorian and received her Massage Therapy certification in 2011. She has extensive experience in TMJ disorder, Injury recovery, Sports injuries, Sports injury prevention, Pre/ Post event stretching, Lymphatic drainage, and scar tissue therapy. She has had hands on experience working with basketball players including; NBA, NCAA, oversea players, MLS players, WNBA players, distance runners and champion amateur boxers. She has two children, her oldest is in college and her youngest is starting High School. During her free time, she loves watching sports. Her favorite hockey player calls her “mom.”


Ally Peterson

Ally is a Corona resident and full- time college student pursuing her interest in nursing. She grew up with strong foundations of wellness, nutritional knowledge, and physical health. Ally joined Inner Qi in the Spring of 2017 and could not be more excited to coordinate patients for their own health journey.
